Dycem High Performance Contamination Control FlooringDycem's High Performance Contamination Control Zones are easy to use and provide a simple, long lasting and highly effective method of minimising foot and wheel borne contamination. Today thousands of cleanrooms, critical areas and operating theatres are protected by Dycem contamination control mats and floor coverings, enabling an impressive reduction in particle counts, which ultimately reduces cross contamination and increases product yields. If you currently have Clean Zone or Work Zone installed and are unsure if it is fuctioning effecively, CRG can offer a free testing service using Dycem's AFG (Advanced Force Gauge) Meter. This tests the particle collection and retention efficiency of the floor surface.
How it works:Dycem’s polymeric compound and processing technology produce a material with an optically smooth, flexible surface. This exceptionally smooth surface creates a high degree of surface energy associated with Van der Waals forces. This high surface energy enables the Dycem material to attract particulate contamination and prevent it from entering clean areas. Particles from shoes or trolley wheels will remain there until cleaning because the force of the flooring’s attraction will be too great to remove it.
